Welcome to our new web page. Stanley United has been established since 1966 from a single team and has now grown to include 4 senior and 12 junior teams plus the new addition of 2 girls teams. We are a charter standard award club, who operate an equal policy for both male and female teams. Our club is based in Stanley, West Yorkshie.
Our aim is to give you all the latest club information on our news page. For all other information including match fixtures and contacts simply click on the links to the left of the page and they will take you straight there.
Club Chairman John Williams says "Charter Standard gives the club official recognition by the Football Association and, having already gained planning permission to develop the Ferry Lane site, we are now talking to the Football Foundation with a view to raising the necessary funds to start work"
Stanley United are a FA Charter Standard Football Club. The soccer parent course is a short on-line course which raises parents awareness. We strongly encourage all parents involved in local football to look at this interactive FA course. Please advise us when you have successfully completed the course as we would like to keep a log of all those who have taken part in this FA initiative.
VERY IMPORTANT!!!
The club and team managers are responsable for players, parents and spectators before, during and after a game. The club will be disciplined by the F.A. or league for any incident that involves players or spectators. PLEASE PLEASE do not question the officials decision however unjust you may feel it was. THE DECISION IS FINAL. The job of referee is a difficult one and they are only human please give them your support.
