Wet conditions would add as a leveler in this game and this was true . From the pre- match team talk the team was asked to go out give it there all and send out Jules a happy retiring manager.

With Three of the team out injured ,it was always going to be tough , but the boys played with grit and determination .

The early exchanges were coming from both teams and saw Owen slice wide with a shot , then Brayton rallied and applied an attack move broken down but some great counter defending , Robbie , Nort , Alex .
 Brayton attack again and this time are stoppped well by Goldings tough tackling (nice ).
Then Brayton break through and its 0-1.Richardson unable to cover the shot accross goal and in off of Tank who tried to clear  the ball.

The unfazed Stanley side rally and Attack wide right , Harrisons shot going wide. Nort is then taken off,Leeson on for Nort. Robbie is dropped into defence and tank upto sweeper .
The next exchanges are form both sides with attack broken down from both defences, then Stanley break from deep up to Owen out to Jp who shoots and its wide . Kai is taken off and Jamies replaces him at striker, Will off from left ctr back Nort taking his place.


 Brayton attack now with two shotts stopped well by Stand in Goalie Richardson ( excellent work Chris). Then brayton score again and its 2-0 with five left to play , but its all Stanley and a well worked move defence into attack see Jamie take a good goal rounding the keeper to make it 1-2  and half time .

Jules half time talk is to tell the lads to get into the challenges , win the ball in the air and go and enjoy the game .

Brayton score early after some week defending 1-3 , and pace from Brayton. Jules has tried over the season to install a never say die attitude and this was apparent as the lads rallied .
Tank and Robbie swap back , Frankie Hall is introduced with Owen coming off.Harry is taken off and Kai put on at right wing.
 The lads are now making themselves some ground in attack and defence , Kai turning the winger inside out and the providing a cross for Jamie who miss hits it.
 Then Owen replaces Frankie , and an attack is made almost straight away Owen to Jp out wide back to Jp and onto Leeson Goal !!!!! but its cancelled out by the Ref as the linesman flags it as offside (NO WAY !!!).
This seems to rattle the lads and Brayton score to make it 1-4 , against the run of play , but two hand balls from Brown didnt help .Richardson come out to winger and Jp in to Goals.
The Stanley lads contine to do all the attacking from now on and with five left on the clock create three more shots on goal , but none of them past the keeperand the game ends 1-4.with most of the second half been attack from the home side.

Some really gutsy football played from the home side in wet and sloppy conditions and Jules is really proud of all the player , "i would love to give the man of the match to all of you but the standout players who dont get much mentions and really have tried hard over the last few weeks, so the award is shared with Jp and Nort "

Well done to all , and thanks to the U13s palyers who played today. the future looks bright for this side and next season when the teams merge.
