Stanley went into there final group game in the Helius Cup knowing only a victory and by a few goals would be needed to qualify for the semi-finals.This soon went out of the window as Ackworth dominated the opening exchanges and Stanley found themselves 2-0 down.Stanley did manage to work there way back into the game through the only player on the Stanley side that played well throughout the game Jack Tolly who first played Elliott Booth in to make it 2-1,then played Jack Ives in who made it 2-2 with an excellent finish going into half time.Still all to play for in the second half unfortunately Stanley failed to play and Ackworth ran out comfortable and deserved 5-2 victors.J&Ives Textiles m.o.m honours went to Jack Tolly with Chris Abbott taking second and Josh Laverack third.
