In an evenly matched contest played in poor conditions it was the home side who were to come away with the spoils.
The first half saw Wrenthorpe miss two shots and from then on it was a pretty even affair with both teams work hard up to half time.
The second half was pretty much as the first but it was Wrenthorpe who were to score the only goal of the half coming on 50 mins.With 10 mins left Stanley pushed them close with four shots on goal but none too much work for the home keeper.
Awell fought out contest with both teams evenly matched.
Stanleys Keeper Conner Haworth was awarded the Mark Wood Man of the Match for his diving save in the first half,(mmm chocolate, well done Conner)
